Wow.

That's exactly how it went. It was TOMS One Day Without Shoes and it went rather flawlessly besides a mysterious cut that I got on my toe and a blister. I walked more than three miles and people stared at me like I was some type of alien since I wasn't wearing any shoes (even though I was wearing a T-Shirt that was explaining the cause). A couple people did ask me why I wasn't wearing any shoes and I gladly told them why. They furrowed their brows and raised them, but agreed it was worthy of being shoe less. So onward I walked with a smile on my face and dirty feet.

That was the only picture I managed to take while I was walking. My feet look pretty awesome from this position, if I do say so myself.

After walking a full day barefoot, I realized that these children that don't own any pairs of shoes, have to do that everyday. They don't get just one cut and one blister each day. They probably get them countlessly and many are even infected by diseases. It makes my stomach churn just thinking about it. I wish I could help each and every one of them. However, with all of our help, each act of random kindness can make a huge difference in this world. May God give us sincerity and love for others.

Other than yesterday, my week has been pretty bland. I feel like I'm dying from allergies and I've lost the remote about four times which is pretty depressing. It's also going to rain tomorrow which means I won't be in the mood for doing absolutely anything, which also leads to me not doing homework, which means I'll probably fall behind. Blah. I don't understand what it is about rain that just makes me want to sleep and drink hot coco all day. Time for me to do some homework right now and completely pass out on my econ book for old times sake.
